Grit Brushes come in 4 grades, and are desgined to reach into all those areas that pads won’t touch. Ideal for grout lines, uneven floors and scrubbing/stripping on many floor surfaces.
One of the fastest selling tools on the market, Grit brushes reduce/eliminate the need for black stripping pads. No more re-centering wobbly pads, or flipping them when they're filthy and wet. These are also great scrub brushes, and also work at getting those grout lines back to new. Just attach your grit brush to your machine, and strip away floor finish/dirt easily. Constructed with .050 nylon bristle with # 80 grit silicon carbide particles embedded into each bristle, long life span and great performance cannot be beaten by pads. Brushes must be run on wet surfaces. These can be safely used on most floors without worry of damage, just like a black pad. As always, test an inconspicuous spot of the floor for compatibility on each job before you begin.
Note: I've stripped many light jobs without using any stripper, just water and a Grit brush!
A heavy duty version of grit brush, the bristles spec out at .070 diameter nylon, with 46 grit silicon carbide particles. Great for use in places that have years of floor finish built up from re-coating without proper stripping.
A soft scrubbing brush, thin .018 bristle with gentle # 500 grit . Very useful for daily/weekly maintenance programs where you need to touch up floors often. Think of it as power mopping! Also does a good job on grout lines, especially with smaller machines, that just don't have the down pressure/weight. I personally use one of these on my 12"x 12" kitchen tiles in my home, on a Clarke FM-13 machine ( which weighs less than 30 lbs.). Gets into the grout every time.
